To load a report that you have previously saved, perhaps to print it
out, open the File menu and choose the Open option.
To store a report as a file for printing at a later date, or for use
in another application such as a word processor or spreadsheet, open the
File menu and choose the Save option. The Save As window appears. Enter
a name for the report and choose the destination drive and directory for
your saved report.
To change your report's page settings, open the File menu and choose
the Page Setup option. You can change the paper's margins and size, and
can select which of your printer's paper trays will be used when you print
this report.
To increase or decrease the amount of the page on view, open the View
menu and choose the Zoom option. This is not the same as changing the
size of the document window, but has a similar effect.
Note: If you make changes to the report in the Preview window, when
you close the document you are asked if you want to save the changes to
the layout file used to create the report. You cannot save over a fixed
layout or report, if required save your document with a different name.
To set the text properties for different areas of your report, open
the View menu and choose the Styles option. The Style List window appears
listing all existing styles. If you want to change a style, select the
style from the list then choose the Modify button. The Style Font window
appears. You can change the font typeface, style, size and apply any special
font effects here.
